LOVE.
I sense your palate is not a dull grey in colour. You may be approaching an unknown journey. Expect the unexpected, don’t be surprised if a rainbow coloured hot air balloon lands on your not so green lawn. Don’t be afraid, pack your party shoes and dress, get in and fly to the land of OZ to see the wizard in full view...

Tin of Nails
Tin of Nails
Are we but a mere tin of nails on a ledge in the dusty garage?
Some very shiny and new
Some rusty and crumbling
Some thick
Some thin
Some very sharp
Some, well, just blunt.
Prodding and poking and pricking the others.
So silver, so new
So gold, so thin
So Fat and tough
So fragile and worn
So docile and delicate
So purposeful and strong.
What is our purpose?
To hold things together.
To be hammered down to keep a tight grip.
Without us the frame will break, will collapse.
Some of us can achieve this perfectly.
Others bend and break only to be pulled out and thrown away.
Are we but a mere tin of nails on a ledge in the dusty garage?

Caress
I want you to sit on a low stool where I can be standing between your long legs, we must be at eye level. I want your arms around my waist and I want you to pull me in tight, as close as I can possibly fit. From here I can feel your breath, I can smell your hair, that familiar smell that comforts me, I can feel the warmth of your inner thighs and your tight clasp around me.
Eyes locked, passionately. We are in a busy, noisy, public place but our eyes are focused, deep into one anothers. Looking into the depth of each other’s minds. Our breathing is deep and slow, our heart beats a little faster. We feel a sensation move through our bodies. The noise of our surroundings begin to fade into the distance, voices are only echoes, we are in a trance.
Both my hands gently touch and cup your face, slowly I feel the shape of your facial structure, your strong, thin cheeks, your nose. I touch with purpose like a blind woman would, yet with the luxury that is mine to stare into your eyes. My fingers navigate the path of your hairline. I cover your eyes gently feeling your brows and stroke down your face so slowly, to your warm, delicious lips. I caress the outline of your mouth with my finger tips. I touch the opening of your lips and feel the warmth, I stay here a while. I move my hands around to your ears feeling their shape, the soft lobes, then through your messed up hair. At the crown of your head I move my fingers softly, but surely in a circular, massaging motion, I stay here a while.
You close your eyes now, to concentrate only on the sensuality of my caress. My hands work their way down to your neck, you can feel my long nails stroking, skin that has aged and is darkened by the sun’s rays. Your hands have not moved, all the while they hold me; you are frozen by my touch.
I hold the back of your head with one hand, fingers through your hair, with the other hand I hold your cheek with my thumb on your chin. I pull your lower lip slightly open, move in close and I kiss you, my eyes closed now, we stay here a while. Aroused.

Change your solemn to light
I trust you will fly high with me through the bridge that once stood,
That once we would fly over, or scoop under
We now fly through empty space, through only the air before us.
Take me with you in the night, I can rescue us, I can change your solemn to light
Relight the fire in your soul.
Changed are we through visions of despair, the bridge we once walked across,
only a monument of our past, is now nowhere
The images we encase and lock away in a safe place
Where only death will lose these treasures.
You are forever lost, but in your eyes I can find me, I will find you
Stay with me through these times of joyless flight
We will build a new bridge
It will be ours, mine and yours to keep.
Take me with you in the night, I can rescue us, I can change your solemn to light
Relight the fire in your soul.
I trust we will fly once again, high over new bridges that touch the soft clouds.
In earnest we will grow, I and you.
Once again to find flight, and follow the shining glow.
Hold me close as I want to hold you too.
Take me with you in the night, I can rescue us, I can change your solemn to light
Relight the fire in your soul.
I trust you will fly high with me through the bridge that once stood,
